Vampire Crawlers Platforms: Price, Game Pass & Release

Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors launched on 21 April 2026 for PC and consoles, and reached iOS and Android on 12 October 2026 alongside the free Death Parade update. Most versions cost $9.99 / £8.99 / €9.99 / ¥1,200 at launch, so choosing a platform is not a price decision. It is a decision about Game Pass, portability, and which machine you want your save on for good.

Every platform and its release date

Platform Release date Notes
PC (Steam) 21 April 2026 App 3265700; Steam Cloud; demo still listed
PC (Epic Games Store) 21 April 2026 Epic page
macOS 21 April 2026 Sold on Steam; requirements list macOS Sonoma 14.4.1+, Apple M2 or Intel i9, 2 GB RAM
PS5 21 April 2026 No PS4 version
Xbox Series X|S 21 April 2026 Game Pass day one; no Xbox One version
Nintendo Switch 21 April 2026 Launch platform
Nintendo Switch 2 21 April 2026 Same day as the other consoles; see the 4K note below
iOS (iPhone, iPad) 12 October 2026 Same day as Death Parade
Android 12 October 2026 Same day as Death Parade
PS4 — Not released
Xbox One — Not released

Two details matter beyond the dates. The macOS build shipped with the Windows version on day one, per the launch platform list on Updates & Roadmap, and its hardware floor is the one printed on the Steam page. The last-gen consoles never got a version: there is no PS4 or Xbox One build to buy.

Patch timing is a difference the table cannot show. Version 1.5 reached PC on 23 June 2026 and consoles on 14 July 2026, a three-week gap (1.5 notes; RPG Site). That is the only split date recorded on this site, so "console patches trail PC" is a possibility to check, not a rule.

Game Pass: day one, console and PC

Vampire Crawlers joined Xbox Game Pass as a day-one release and is included on both console and PC (FAQ). For a subscriber the marginal cost is $0, which makes it the cheapest way to find out whether the turn-based loop holds you: the first hour is the part that feels slow if you came for action (review). The $9.99 listing matters if you want to own the game outside the subscription.

Switch 2: 4K support arrived with patch 1.5

Patch 1.5 (14 July 2026 on consoles) brought 4K / 1080p support on Switch 2, alongside Endless mode for every console (RPG Site, 14 July 2026). poncle's own patch notes list Endless mode and the fixes; the resolution detail comes from RPG Site's report. What the patch notes do not say is whether the Switch 2 version is native or reconstructed, so treat "4K" as output support, not a statement about the renderer.

Mobile: 12 October 2026, the same day as Death Parade

The iOS and Android versions shipped on 12 October 2026 together with Death Parade (v1.6.1), the update that added three stages, two purchasable Crawlers, four gems and four Arcana (update breakdown). Phones arrived on the current content set, not on the April build.

Controls are the open question. No official source used here describes the mobile touch scheme, screen layout or device requirements, so this page leaves them out rather than guessing. What is confirmed: the date, the same-day update, and the $9.99 price.

Cross-save: not at launch

poncle's FAQ is explicit: cross-save is "not at launch, we're looking into it on time for the mobile ports" (official FAQ). So today a run started on Steam does not continue on PS5, and the 161 achievements stay separate per platform. The mobile FAQ, published with the 12 October 2026 phone launch, still says "Not yet" and points to a poncle account that has not shipped (full cross-save and transfer status).

Which version should you buy?

The price is the same on most storefronts (poncle notes it can differ slightly on some consoles), so four things decide it: whether you already pay for Game Pass, whether you need portable play, which platform you want your completion run on, and whether you own the hardware at all.

Your situation What fits Why
Game Pass subscriber with an Xbox or a PC Play it on Game Pass there $0 at launch, and the save stays on that platform
You own a PS5 PS5 version Same 161 objectives as Steam; no cross-save, so the run stays here
Want it portable and own a Switch Switch or Switch 2 Handheld console builds; mobile joined on 12 October 2026
Want it portable without a Switch iOS or Android (12 October 2026), or a Mac The Mac build exists; the phone build shipped with Death Parade
Only own a PS4 or Xbox One Nothing on console No last-gen build was released
Want to test the loop first Steam demo, then buy where you will finish Demo saves carry over into the full game (official FAQ: "Yes")

That last row is the practical one. The demo is a Steam build, and poncle's FAQ confirms demo saves carry over into the full game (patch notes). Treat it as a trial, not as a head start.

FAQ

Is Vampire Crawlers on Switch 2?

Yes. It shipped on 21 April 2026, the same day as the other consoles. A Switch 2 4K patch is referenced in RPG Site's coverage of the 14 July 2026 console update; official resolution and frame-rate details are not published on the pages used here.

Does it run at 4K on Switch 2?

Yes, from patch 1.5: RPG Site's 14 July 2026 report on the console update says it "brings 4K / 1080p support on Switch 2". What is not published is whether the Switch 2 build is native or reconstructed, so read 4K as output support. The resolution is confirmed; only the renderer is unstated.

Is it on PS4 or Xbox One?

No. Current-gen only: PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Is it on mobile?

Yes: iOS and Android from 12 October 2026, the same day as Death Parade.
